Skype bot for cross posting Skype chats to web

I love when developers work up small hacks. Like Hudson Barton's "Chat Publisher", a bot for Skype text chats. CP joins your chat and saves your chat's history to its public web server, updating every 15 minutes. For an example, join this mirrored chat, see its archive, and see see it in context.

CP is in private alpha; contact Hudson (Skype garnet_stone) to set up your public chat.

I use Inezha's Anothr service to pipe the web into Skype. CP reverses that direction.

My wishlist:

  • RSS output
  • Flexible update schedules (xmpp push?)
  • Post through common blog APIs
  • ftp to sites of your choice
  • Post to private sites
  • Self-service web UI for configuring your service
  • In-chat commands - pause/resume archival
  • Choose the CSS formatting of your choice
  • Scale to thousands of chats
